STL IS ENGAGED!

 

Kenyan singer Stella Mwangi a.k.a STL revealed to Hot Secretsthat she is “engaged” to someone who is “not in the music industry”.

The Go-Getter hitmaker who is based in Norway jetted intothe country mid last week for a series of “business meetings” and “musicrelated tour”.

STL remained mum about her fiancé. Spotting a gold ring withencrusted with a sizable shinny diamond, STL steered the conversation to hermusic and the reason she is in town.

The Lookie Lookie star just got back from Uganda where shewrote a song with Navio and Richie Rich which is “yet to be recorded” and shewill heading out to Tanzania after Christmas to “collabo with AY on the remixof a song I have recorded”, STL said.

The singer who is enjoying favourable airplay for her latestrelease Hula Hoop featuring Mohombi says 2012 is a year when she ups hertargets.

“I want 2012 to be the year I use the experience learnt from2011. I would like to have an African tour,” she said.

The Smallville actor who was featured in Rapper AY’s musicvideo Speak With Your Body shot in July will spend the Chrismas holidays behind bars.

The music video also features two American musicians Lil Romeo and La’Myia.

 Sam Jones checkedinto a correctional facility in Lompoc, California earlier this week to beginhis punishment, reports TMZ.com.

The former Smallville star was sentenced to serve 366 daysin prison in June after pleading guilty to conspiracy to sell more than 10,000Oxycodone painkiller pills as part of a major Los Angeles drug ring.

AY’S NEXT PROJECT IS WITH T PAIN

Hot Secrets has learnt that Tanzanian rapper AY has already recorded a single with American rapper T-Pain and is planning on shooting the video.

The rapper was in the country for Saturday evening award show EMAS where he bagged the award for Best Collabo for him musical effort with Mwana F.A. in the track Habari Ndio Hiyo.







Other winners included a tie in the Best Male category where Dr. Claude of Rwanda and Jaguar shared the award. Best Female went to Juliana for her single Alive Again while Best Group was P-Unit. Gospel group BMF bagged the Best Gospel Group for the single I Live For You and Emmy Kosgei scooped the Best Gospel Collabo for her callabo with Lynn in the single Omegeu Rerein. Kidum and Papa Wemba were both awarded in the Best Male in the Afro Fusion and Rhumba category respectively. South Sudan rapper Lam bagged the Best Video for Stay in Love.

Anyhow, AY released his latest collabo with Romeo and La'Myia Good – actress Meagan Good’s older sister - for the single titled Speak With Ya Body.

Tanzanian rapper AY shot the music video for his new song Speak With Your Body that features two American musicians Lil Romeo and La’Myia last weekend.



The set was on location in Hollywood and was directed by William Tikki and Shai Kadem. The audio was recorded at Master P’s No Limit Records.





Some of the guests on set included actress Meagan Good, Smallville actor Sam Jones III best known for playing Clark Kent’s high school friend Pete Ross and No Limit Soldiers.

La’Myia (born September 27, 1979) is an American singer and actress. She is best known for her voice work in the blockbuster PlayStation 3 game Killzone 3 as the voice of Jammer and her work with R&B group Isyss.



She is the older sister of actress Meagan Good and older cousin of actor/singer Dijon Talton.

In other news AY was in Nairobi last month to put finishing touches to the video of another collaboration effort with Nairobi boy band Sauti Sol dubbed Shukuru.
