Expert: Justin Bieber showed off his skateboarding skills in between sessions in the studio in Miami last night


He may be over ten years younger than him but it seems Justin Bieber had a thing or two to show Lil Wayne about skateboarding.

The 17-year-old was pictured showing off his skills outside a studio in Miami as he took a break from recording his new album.

Bieber tweeted a photo of himself and the rapper standing by the half pipe with the caption: 'good time in the studio last night. back at it tonight. oh yeah...and big bro came thru...'


In the black and white image, the Never Say Never singer is seen clutching his skate board as he chats with Wayne - real name Dwayne Carter.

In other shots, Bieber is seen posing for the camera and then putting his feet to the board as he prepares to skate.

Wearing a black T-shirt with matching jeans and trainers, the teenage star completed his look with a dark beanie hat and was no doubt feeling confident about his performance.

It is unknown whether Wayne stopped by to help with the recording of Bieber's upcoming album Believe, or if he simply just wanted skateboarding tips.

The father-of-four received nine stitches in August last year after he had a skateboarding-related accident.

But that didn't put the rapper off the action sport as he recently had a skate ramp built as a roll out of the back of his Cadillac Escalade.

It seems that he's not going to give up on his new hobby and may have been seeking advice from Bieber.

Meanwhile, the young singer was reportedly putting on a bit of a show for his awaiting female fans as he prepared for another night in the studio.

'In the studio writing for #17MILLIONSTRONG !!! #BELIEVE #MUCHLOVE' he tweeted earlier on today.

He is currently working on the record with Timbaland who retweeted a friends post that read: 'Can yall believe that the Justin Bieber fans are still outside of the studio now at 4am. They said they are leaving from studio to school.'

His hair has literally been his crowning glory since he first hit the charts back in 2009.

But now, just a few days after wowing fans by bringing back his famous 'do, Justin Bieber has hit the bottle to get darker locks.

The 17-year-old singer debuted his new look as he was seen leaving a friend's house with girlfriend Selena Gomez after watching the Green Bay Packers NFL game in Sherman Oaks, California.


Bieber's hair looked significantly darker next to his bright yellow T-shirt, which he teamed with baggy jeans and a pair of blue trainers.

And the singer's change in appearance came a week after girlfriend Selena showed off her hair after getting the ends dyed blue.

Selena wore a pair of skinny jeans, white vest top and patterned cardigan as she enjoyed spending time with her beau at the friend's house.

Meanwhile, despite the colour of his hair changing, it seems that Bieber has opted to keep his lengthier locks, sticking to the look he became famous with.

Bieber had appeared at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas last week showing off locks which looked back to their original style.

The Baby singer broke hearts when he made the decision to get rid of his long locks in February last year.

The unpopular choice initially cost him 80,000 followers (hardly a dent in his 16.4million) on Twitter.

But some good came of it, with thousands raised for charity thanks to an eBay auction of some of the snipped locks.

When grilled on his dramatic decision at the time, he explained: 'I just wanted to, that’s all, not really a big reason; I just woke up and said, "I don’t want this any more", so I just cut it.’

Over the last year, he has tried out a number of styles, from a short Tintin-style flick, to a tousled 'do.

'I'm not a kid anymore': Prince of pop Justin Bieber on sex, drugs and partying

Justin Bieber has opened up about his view on sex, drugs and religion.

The pop star, who is approaching his 18th birthday, also discussed the pressure of coming of age in the spotlight in a new interview with America's V magazine.

'People need to know I'm not a kid anymore,' he admits, adding that he's 'not completely grown-up' either.

'I'm still learning,' he says.

'I'm not going to try to conform to what people want me to be, or go out there and start partying, have people see me with alcohol. I want to do it at my own pace.'

While he may be transforming from a boy to a man, don't expect him to change his squeeky clean image.

'I don't want to start singing about things like sex, drugs and swearing,' said the heartthrob, who is dating Selena Gomez.

'I'm into love, and maybe I'll get more into making love when I'm older. But I want to be someone who is respected by everybody.'

While he recently got a tattoo of Jesus on his leg, he insists: 'I don't consider myself religious. I haven't been to church in a long time.'

The teen sensation made headlines with the large tattoo of Christ's face on his calf - but downplays his beliefs.

Bieber admitted that going to church does not play a part in his life, although he talks to God in private.

'I don't think I'm religious. I am spiritual,' Bieber told the fashion magazine.

'I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins. I believe that He put me in this position, and that I have to always give Him the glory He deserves for putting me here.

'But I don't consider myself religious. A lot of people who are religious, I think they get lost. They go to church just to go to church.

'I'm not trying to disrespect them - you know, whatever works for you.

'But for me, I focus more on praying and talking to Him. I don't have to go to church.'

He admitted: 'I haven't been to church in a long time, but I know I have a relationship with Him. I talk to Him, and that's all.'

Instead, Bieber seemed keen to push his skills as a pugilist.

'Yeah I box. Me and my friends box all the time,' he bragged.

'My dad is a fighter so he taught me some stuff growing up, and he's a great fighter, so I'm a pretty good boxer.'

He compared his plight as an entertainer fighting for respect with that of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

'Now that I'm on top, everyone wants to bring me down. Everyone's trying to tug at me and take my spot,' he said.

'Like Floyd Mayweather, he's the best boxer in the world. Now he is a champion. Every time he goes to a fight now, people are like, 'He's going to lose this time'.

'Every time he wins. And people aren't ever going to know that he's a champ.'

He said he also looks to the controversial fighter for inspiration on how to stay on top in his own profession.

'Floyd Mayweather trains every day, even when it's off season,' he gushed. 'When everyone else just chills he's in there punching bags because he wants to be the best. He wants to be better than Ali.

'I'm going to be honest - I'm young and I'm not as disciplined as I need to be. If I have a day off, I need to be in the dance studio, but instead I'm hanging out with my friends.

'But when I'm in my 20s need to buckle down and work as hard as these other people.'

And he admits he is aiming high - as high as can be.

'Eventually, I want to become the best at what I do. I want to be the best. In the world,' he said.

'I want to be better than anybody that's ever done it. I don't want people to think of me as just a teen sensation.

'I want to transition, and become the greatest.'

He knows some people will be hard to win over - but has confidence that his talent will be enough to win over the haters.

'A lot of people say they hate Justin Bieber who haven't listened to any of my music,' he admitted.

'They just hate me because the hate the idea of me. I'm young, I'm handsome - I don't mean to sound conceited - but they think I just got here because of that.

'I feel the more put out, the more people will realize it's really good music. I'm not worried about the guy fans because they are going to come.'

He added: 'It's not a fluke that I'm here. I'm here for a reason, and I'm here for a lifetime.'

He also insists that he is not worried about having many of the troubles that his idol Michael Jackson faced after finding fame at such an early age.

'Michael had a really bad childhood,' he said. 'I was blessed with a great childhood.

'Maybe Michael missed out on a lot, so he tried to live his childhood when he was older.

'I don't feel like I missed out on anything. I'm not worried.'

With his shirt off and his shoulders stooped, Justin Bieber could have been auditioning for a part in The Hunchback Of Notre Dame.

But in reality he was just walking along the beach with a bit of bad posture.

The the teen singing sensation was snapped strutting around the sand yesterday with his family in Cabo San Lucas.


Wearing nothing but a pair of dark coloured swimming trunks, the 17-year-old appeared to be working on his tan, but it was his hunched demeanour that made the star stand out.

Perhaps someone needs to let the pop star know that poor posture can trigger a host of health problems.

According to the Mayo Clinic, bad posture can cause back pain, headaches, fatigue and sore muscles.

Justin has been in Mexico for the past few days, enjoying a holiday with relatives and his lady love Selena Gomez.
