What are you guys doing for the premiere of Monday night's The Bachelorette?? Can't believe it's almost here after a quick 8 weeks off. That went quickly, right? There's lots of skepticism as to whether Ashley will be able to keep people interested in watching the show throughout the season. I'm not sure she has the charisma to carry the show and keep the kind of guys around that main stream viewers will find interesting. That said, she's got to be somewhat intelligent if she's graduating Penn dental school, so hopefully that will translate into choosing the right guys and getting rid of the losers.
Looks wise, I still think that Brad's batch of ladies from last season was the most attractive to date. Let's recap - he had beautiful, but crazy Michelle from Utah. There was gorgeous Emily who was a Barbie doll. There was Chantal and Shawntel - both extremely attractive women who could have easily become models. Ashley S was very cute in a Bambi kind of way (that's the one that went on the two vs. one date with Ashley H and lost). There was the skinny, but pretty, Britt who seemed sweet enough - and would make a great Rapunzel. There was Jackie who looked good until she opened her mouth on The Women Tell All and attacked Michelle to a point which made her look evil. If I stopped there, that's 7 extremely gorgeous ladies who could have carried a show on their looks alone.

Chris and Ashley H. He's one of my favorites for her! |
Then there's Ashley H. She was insecure about her relationship with Brad the entire season. Yet she made it to the final 3 and beat out some major beauties. On a press call I participated in with her after she got eliminated from Brad's season, she was super bubbly, seemed to have a lot of personality and was highly energetic. Perhaps we'll see a different side of her on Monday - a glamorous, confident and positive person who is ready to find her man. Let's just hope that the dudes are equally attractive and easy on the eyes. Ashley claimed in a call this week, that her men were the best that the Bachelorette has ever had. Ehhh, I'm guessing she has to say this. She also hasn't revealed whether she found love, is engaged or anything really - she just said she's happy with the result. I mean, if she didn't find love and it ended horribly, what else would she be allowed to say? It turned out terribly? She didn't pick anyone, but she learned a lot about herself? She picked someone but then realized it was a mistake so she's now single and loving life? Wah wah wahhhhh. She would certainly never be allowed to say that. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
As for my Monday night, I'm getting very excited.
Blue Bunny, an ice cream company, has generously agreed to sponsor my Bachelorette Premiere Watch Party by sending me loads of individual serving size ice cream flavors - their Personals brand. I have to admit, when the package arrived in dry ice yesterday, The Husband called me at work and I could practically hear his drooling over the phone. He was reading me the flavors - all sorts of crazy things...but I'm most interested in Bunny Tracks and this crazy peanut butter flavor. A few of my girlfriends are coming over Monday night to indulge with us. We can't wait and we'll definitely post some pics. Be sure to send me the pics of your own premiere watch party and I'll post them here.
