Emily Maynard is Ringless! Is it Really Over For Good??

Just hours before Ashley H's journey begins as The Bachelorette, US Weekly Magazine is reporting on its site, that our beloved couple, Emily Maynard and Brad Womack are officially dunzo.  According to Us Magazine.com, Emily gave the ring back and ended things after a last ditch attempt to reconcile their engagement/relationship by visiting Austin did not work out.  My guess is that they were required to work things out (legally, by contract) until the premiere of Ashley's season.  Or maybe the poor girl was going grocery shopping and just forgot to put on her ring (less likely).

This relationship seemed doomed from the After the Final Rose on...so this is not a major shocker, but I think we had some hope that a person like Emily would find happiness with Brad.  Hopefully the show will be a platform for her to find happiness elsewhere and with someone local! 

Ah well, here's hoping that Ashley will have better luck...and if not better luck, at least a rip roaring, entertaining season like no other.
