About the time when Erica's perfectly manicured fingers were rubbing Blake's knee as she "hinted" at her desires for a "no strings attached" fling by announcing the sexy lingerie that she brought with her, it hit me: Erica must be a hired actress. There is no human being on this earth that could possibly be as delusional (
e.g., "I believe I am much prettier than Holly..."), out of touch, (
e.g., believe that there was the smallest, remotest, most microscopic chance that Blake could be seduced by her throwing herself at him) or just downright stupid (
e.g., trusting Kasey and Vienna - the people they just completely insulted during the Nearlywed game) to be anything other than someone paid lots and lots of money to provide entertainment.
For all the Blake the Snake comments going on behind Blake's back, I have to give the guy credit. Melissa was an honest mistake for him. Holly seems just as into him as he is into her - and hearing Holly's side of the story, I still feel bad for Michael, but think it's time for him to move on. Holly's face whenever she's with Michael pretty much says it all - this relationship is at a standstill. And then Blake has no choice to be paired up with Erica. And because they form this alliance, he's now obligated (according to Erica) to sleep with her? Gross. I'm starting to feel for Blake. No human should have to be faced with Erica's fake boobs and lips and I completely agreed with his statement about if things were the other way and he forced himself on Erica, what a creep everyone would think he was.
Kasey and Vienna were a mess tonight. The fact that Vienna called out Kasey on taking back his promise ring (too bad there wasn't a song for that moment) because she wouldn't give it up for him, pretty much says it all. But watching Kirk make fun of the "most in love couple in Bachelor history" is kind of worth watching them go at it.
Ella looks a 100000% better with straight hair and make up. She should keep that style going. And by now I think we all know about why the money means so much to her, so I hope they stop showing clips about her talking about her 9 year old angel son. I also hope that Kirk can be her consolation prize because with the lack of intelligence in the house, I'm pretty much convinced that nobody can bring down Vienna and Kasey.
I found myself happy for the growing romance between Michelle Money and Graham. I can't tell if he's as into having a relationship with her as she is with him. He seems to just want to make out with her body, though he did hint at having a lasting relationship with that body beyond the finale of the show. I guess we'll find out next week if they are still together. Side note: at the last Bachelor Pad, we found out that Tenley and Kiptyn were still together, and here we are almost a year later and the two of them are going strong (though not engaged). Interesting that both Kiptyn and Tenley were willing to get engaged to Jillian and Jake, respectively, within 8 weeks of meeting them and yet neither are interested yet in getting engaged to each other with over a year of being together. Hmmmmm.
Blake and Holly's chemistry is palpable. Michael needs to let them be for a while. Michelle and Graham's strategy was brilliant (but for the loss of virginity age blowing their cover).
More tomorrow. Am still de-stressing from watching the Mardy Fish match on TV (incredible effort by Mardy) at the US Open. Not sure if that was more stressful or watching Erica try to seduce Blake. I actually think I got nauseous whenever she hinted at any sort of physical contact with anyone.
Thankfully only one week left of this nonsense and then we get a nice fall break. I can work on my writing and The Husband can bathe himself in football season until February. If you are horrified (as I am) at the prospect of not having Bach to tune into on Monday nights, please drop me a line and let me know what you're up to, what you're watching and anything else that is going on.
XOXO,
Stacey B
