Funeral Home Date Was Producers' Idea...Duh!

Ah, so Shawntel admits it: the producers were the ones that suggested that Brad get a tour of the mausoleum/funeral home in Chico, CA during Shawntel's hometown date. My father referred me to this article on AOL - very interesting interview with Shawntel.  It's amazing that she really has no interest in modeling/acting - she genuinely loves her profession. Good for her.  Of course it sounds like this wouldn't stop her from being the next Bachelorette...

I couldn't find a good picture of Shawntel because I'm using the Husband's computer.  Apologies. But I did find a cute one of my 2 year old nephew Andrew. Don't you just want to squeeze and kiss his cheeks?

Tomorrow, The Husband and I are off to Long Island for the Caps vs. Islanders game. We're staying overnight and then Sunday we'll do some birthday festivities at home for the Oscars.  Should I make a cake or cupcakes?  Anyone have any good Oscar themed recipes?
