and some other initial thoughts:
Was anyone else kind of hoping that Scotch the dog would urinate on Courtney during their romantic car ride to the vineyards? There was nothing cuter than Ben wrapping him up in a towel. Scotch was so cute that I was hoping he would get the rose instead of Courtney. She does seem absolutely perfect in Ben's eyes, but she's a witch in the house.
I have no idea what Ben sees in Jaclyn. I could say some other incredulous thoughts about her, but I'll just leave it at my shock that she got a rose.
Kacie is very cute, when her hair is under control. I can finally tell a way to distinguish between her and Nicki. Nicki has the bumpit.
Emily is still cute. So is the other Casey S, who doesn't speak but is stunningly blonde beautiful. I like Jennifer the red head who made out with Ben, but then had to watch him make out with Blakeley moments later. I would have cried too.
Highlight of the night was seeing Ben find Blakeley hiding in the luggage room corner followed by him finding Jenna crying in a bed. He should have just left the show right there and then and considered himself lucky. Linzie is as happy as a puppy around Ben. I'm not sure that I believe that "dirt is her makeup," though. She's way too styled to be a farm girl.
The community day of the Sonoma kids putting on a play was pretty funny. So much better than the lame soap operas we have been forced to watch season after season. The Kacie date seemed fun and easy, but the montages of their childhood is something that should have been done during one of the last dates, not the first. Courtney belongs in a J Crew catalog. She has a perfect overbite and has this "I'm innocent and a great listener" vibe she's throwing out at Ben.

What did you all think of this madness??? I still think Ben is going to end up alone on this show. The only normal one seems to be the dog.
