Guess Who I Saw?

After coming home from an amazing movie (you need to all go see "Up," the 3-D animated movie that came out this weekend by Pixar), I was catching up on my cell phone with an old friend of mine. Not wanting to lose cell service in my building elevator, I stayed outside on the street and chatted away.

All of a sudden I heard a very familiar voice talking behind me and I turned around to see who it was. When I saw his face, I immediately thought to myself that I knew this person, and at first thought he was a friend from college. Seconds later, I realized how I knew him - it was Eric Van der Woodsen from Gossip Girl (Connor Paolo), who plays Serena's gay brother on the show. I love how I think these people are my friends.

Eric was chatting on his own cell phone, was definitely on the small side (around 5'5" at most) and seemed to know his way around the Upper East side. I wouldn't be surprised if he lives around here in real life (how funny to play a character who lives on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and then actually live on the UES). He is a NYC native and currently attends school here.
