I hope you all are staying warm this weekend. The weatherman said that over 90% of the country (which, according to Jake, includes Canada) has below freezing temperatures. That's crazy. Atlanta was 15 degrees! It snowed in Orlando and there was the Disney half-marathon/marathon there. In NYC, it's in the 20s and sunny. Like a spa day compared to some other places! What's it like where you are?
The Fiance is off to New Orleans for a pseudo bachelor party with some buddies of his. He called me yesterday while I was having a particularly busy work day, telling me that he had just consumed his first hurricane and was drunk. This was at about noon. Tough life that boy has! He went there hoping for somewhat warmer weather and as luck would have, it's one of the coldest weekends New Orleans has ever had on record!
Today, two of my out of town friends are coming to stay with me and tonight, we're going out with a small group for my own pseudo bachelorette party. Nobody will tell me where we're going or how to dress. This is the longest anybody has been able to keep a secret from me. I am very impressed.
Alright, better go enjoy the last few moments of quiet around here. Let me know what you all are doing this weekend and how you're staying warm.
