I'll go into more detail later when I can think straight and regain some of the brain cells that were surely killed off last night watching the absolute sink hole of idiots, drama queens and fame hungry former rejectees of Bachelor/Bachelorette seasons' past. That said, it was an overwhleming, action packed, non-stop crazy 3 hours - kind of like a 3 hour train wreck. I couldn't stop watching.
The Jake and Vienna thing was so absolutely over the top, is it remotely possible that it wasn't scripted? After the televised break up interview they did with Chris Harrison where Jake lost his temper ("Don't interrupt me!") and came off as a creepy, controlling monster, I actually had sympathy for Vienna. But after seeing her behavior, her manipulative eyeballs rolling around in her head while she tries to make poor Kasey think that losing circulation in his body is more imporant than allowing Jake to earn a rose - I'm back to thinking Vienna is the Queen of Bachelor Pad evil. Then Jake (whose main point in coming on the show is to prove to the world that he's not a bipolar, abusive boyfriend) does the unthinkable: he actually gives immunity to the woman who sold their break up story. Why would he do this? Some possibilities: 1) ABC gave him a $50,000 bonus if he did so 2) He wants to show the world he's genuinely interested in showing them how insane Vienna is for at least one more week or 3) He's still hoping to get Vienna on a date in his plane so they can play, "On the Wings of Love" one more time. The stranger thing is that Vienna and Kasey seem to be the ones in control. In what universe do these two control everything? Am I crazy? Why would anyone listen to these guys?
Holly Durst - who on earth is this girl? She's amazingly gorgeous - did you see those legs? Beautiful face, eyes and insane body. She's much better as a brunette than a blonde. Poor Michael Stagliano - clearly he's in for a roller coaster ride with this one. She's got commitment issues and Blake the Dentist has caught her eye already. Watching Blake make out with blonde Melissa in the previews is slightly nauseating. Gia has got to go. Her pouty lips, the way she tosses her hair in her face when in conversation with anyone and her talks about integrity - it was annoying. Why on earth Wes would cheat on Gia for Vienna, however, I will never understand. It seems like Gia will always play second fiddle to that girl. I was happy to see Michelle Money - she actually seems normal compared to some of the other people in the house.
It was great seeing Kirk, Ames and Michael Stags. These are the only three people in the house who didn't annoy me in some way last night. They have wandered in to a land mine of insanity. Ok, more later. First, I have to recover the synapses in my brain to form sentences again.
