One more thought about tonight's show. What was Shawntel's history with Ben? It wasn't clear and the ladies made it seem like they barely knew each other. I'm sure they ran in similar Bachelor circles for a while, but perhaps neither of them pursued the other when they had the chance? Aren't former Bachelors and Bachelorettes just always on cruises together or going to Vegas on organized trips? Why didn't Shawntel approach Ben during the first night of the rose ceremony? Was she busy? Or perhaps the night before the show started? Obviously this was a coordinated intervention w/ the producers. Hmmm.
I still would have liked to see more Shawntel. She's got a good head on her shoulders (though she did fall in love with Brad too), but the poor thing was going to get abused by those animals. Can you picture her alone in a room with Courtney? She'd wake up with bruises.
